SHOUHARDO Program
SHOUHARDO (Strengthening Household Ability to Respond to Development Opportunities) is a five years project of CARE Bangladesh funded by USAID commissioned in October 2005 and will run up to September 2009. As per implementation strategy and LRSP of CARE Bangladesh, this program is running in 18 districts of Bangladesh through partnership approach with local and national NGOs. MSS is one of the implementing partners of CARE Bangladesh. |

MSS in Voter Registration Campaign and Preparation of National ID Cards
It is essential to holding a fair election towards formation of a democratic government and to do this there is no alternative to a transparent voter listing. Based on this reality, the election commission of Bangladesh started working on the preparation of national ID cards and voter registration with photograph. |

Rehabilitation of Non-motorized Transport Pullers and Poor Owners (RNPPO)
MSS is implementing a two year project for the rehabilitation of non-motorized transport pullers and poor owners as well with the financial assistance of World Bank through Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF). Launched in July 2007, the project will end in June 2009. The project is being implemented in Lalbag thana of Dhaka city.  |

Preparedness for Effective Emergency Response Project
MSS is implementing Preparedness for Effective Emergency Response (PEER) project in Dhaka district in partnership with Concern Worldwide. This project was initiated in October 2006 in order to contribute national poverty reduction strategy in Bangladesh by reducing risk to hazards in vulnerable areas through rapid and appropriate emergency response.

Project Dignity
Begging is the painful consequences of the socio economic discrimination and the natural calamities of a country. Natural disaster or socio economic discrimination is widely prevalent in Bangladesh. As a result, a section of the people of Bangladesh is compelled to adapt begging as a means of bread earning. But whatever the reason a man becomes beggar, begging is such an occupation that lowers ones social status.  |
