Human Rights Education Project (HREP):

Objectives of the project:

To increase awareness of disadvantaged grassroots people especially women on basic human rights issues and their capacity and skill for advocacy and campaign.

To form Human Rights Watch Group (HRWG) involving the grassroots people and encourage participation of the large-scale grassroots people and civil society members in the activities of the HRWG

To influence public policy on human right issues by research, documentation and dissemination

To involve the community with ground reality of Human Rights through Participatory Action Research Process.

Collective Advocacy to Criminalise Domestic Violence (CACDV) Project

Objectives of the project:

To create public opinion through mass media that domestic violence against women is a issue of civic and human rights and a criminal offence.

To organize civil society in 32 districts towards making a draft bill to enact laws in preventing domestic violence.

Water and Sanitation Rehabilitation Support to the Flood Affected Slums in Dhaka City (WATSAN Project )

Objectives of the project:

To rehabilitate safe sanitation facilities via construction of community/slab latrines and repairing, cleaning/de-sledging damaged latrines

To improve access to safe water supply by repairing, cleaning and facilitating construction of water points and installation of Tube well for target project communities.

To provide water and sanitation facilities in schools of affected areas by constructing and repairing and cleaning.

To raise awareness among the community about personal and environmental hygiene through behavioral change communication.

To facilitate work of the project with the active participation of civil society, local Govt. and the community.
