Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS) is a national level non-governmental organization working to end poverty since 1974 by improving the quality of life of the disadvantaged segment of the society through multifaceted programs. These include empowering the women involving them in income generating activities providing micro-credit, reducing food insecurity, discharging general health services to mother and children, increasing access to sanitation and safe drinking water and providing humanitarian aid to the distressed people caused by disaster. MSS also promotes good governance and human rights of the vulnerable groups especially women and children through community participation and fostering advocacy initiatives involving civil society.
Apart from Micro-Finance operation, MSS also works in the field of promoting good
governance and human rights, reducing food insecurity, disaster risk reduction,
non-formal education,water and sanitation etc.
